CATT Software Environment
ProComp Software Consultants, Inc. offers a total MIS and EHR solution to Ohio agencies with our flagship product CATTxp (Clinical Assessment Tracking and Triage). CATT was originally designed for MACSIS from the ground up in 1996. Now on our third major release we are able to provide even stronger functionality to Ohio agencies with interfaces including ANSI 837 claims processing for MACSIS, Medicare and Commercial Insurance, automated Electronic Remittance reconciliation and processing for MACSIS and Medicare ANSI825 files, Behavioral Health Module, ODMH Outcomes reporting using the 5 OSQIG instruments, as well as electronic enrollment.
CATTxp provides a comprehensive Electronic Health Record (EHR) which encompasses a wide array of electronic clinical documents, sophisticated integration of functionality and QA checking across clinical documents, complete electronic signature technology for staff and clients, and a soon to be released CATT DMS (Document Management System) for integration of scanned ID, intake and permission forms and records from other providers in addition to OCR recognition of both staff and client completed forms.
CATTxp provides one of the most comprehensive and flexible EHR clinical desktops available to date, including electronic progress notes and a variety of chart documents that can be selected from an extensive Chart Element Catalog. Agencies may choose from numerous Assessment and Treatment Plan (ISP) formats in addition to termination/transfer summaries, critical incident forms, and many specialty chart documents such as the ASI for AOD assessment, ODADAS Care Management assessments, and ODMH Risk Assessments. Anyone of these electronic chart documents may be implemented “as is” or easily modified using CATTxp’s open architecture facilities. Version 3.3 offers an optional SOQIC clinical desktop with 26 different electronic forms and printed reports matching ODMH’s SOQIC standards. Clinical Desktops could then be configured with any combination of SOQIC clinical forms or any of the other 50 plus electronic clinical forms from our Chart Element catalog.
One of the strongest features of CATTxp’s clinical desktop is its real-time audit and error checks which assure clinical compliance and clean MIS records to the billing and data reporting engines. QA checks are applied real-time when the clinicians complete their encounter/episode logs, again when the encounter logs are processed to billing, and in some cases a third time when various EDI files are created. Examples of these QA checks include ensuring that a client has a Treatment Plan in effect before progress notes can be written, ensuring that the service being provided is listed on the most recent Treatment Plan, ensuring that the staff is credentialed to provide the service they are logging, ensuring that the staff is a Medicare provider for Medicare eligible clients, ensuring that the session’s logged face-to-face time does not overlap any other session for that client or staff, as well as enforcing the correct MACSIS modifier selections.
Additional clinical desktop components include CATTxp’s Scheduler, a central component of the clinical desktop which includes highly automated group scheduling capabilities with the ability to synchronize with Microsoft Outlook. Extensive facilities are provided for tracking client movement with one simple screen that documents all historical programs enrollments, staff assignments, group participation, residential or foster home assignments, special assessments and etc. A collection of powerful query screens links many of various clinical desktop screens to an automated mail merge letter generator for assisting routine case management functions.
CATTxp has one of the most powerful and flexible Accounts Receivable systems of any behavior health MIS product on the market. In addition to the MACSIS billing capabilities, CATTxp fully automates third party insurance and Medicare claim submission via paper or ANSI837 EDI files, client statements. federal Adult Parole Authority (APA) billing, as well as a variety of statement formats for contract billing to local county agencies. CATTxp also provides specialized facilities for automated service entry, posting and billing processes for Residential Treatment, Foster Care, IOP, Partial Hospitalization, as well as many enhancements for standard Mental Health and AOD outpatient services.
The CATT Software Environment includes a highly flexible user configurable module for electronic data exchange with other AR, GL, MIS or data analysis software systems. This includes the capacity for streaming HL7 transactions making it possible to integrate CATT into existing mainframe hospital environments or to interface CATT to other billing or clinical packages.
